Motorist traveling on Hwy 17 in Heyden, north of Sault Ste Marie, have one more traffic hazard to worry about. Last night at about 8:30 a group of kids were perched on a rock cut near Trout Lake Road throwing snowballs at passing cars and trucks.

Sault Ste Marie, Ont. - Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Detachment responded to seven collisions and vehicles in the ditch from mid-morning yesterday, when the freezing rain hit this area, until about 9 p.m. last night.

A forty five year old Goulais River man appears in court today after a lengthy investigation by Sault Ste Marie OPP.Earlier in November OPP began an investigation into bad cheques issued in the Goulais River and Havilland Shores Drive area.
