A Batchawana First Nation resident will appear in bail court this morning after assaulting a woman over the weekend. On Sunday morning at about 1:30 a.m. police were called to a home on Frontenac Street on the Batchawana First Nation.

Searchmont, Ont., One man remains in police custody this morning after a woman complained about being assaulted and threatened.
