The Sault O.P.P. had a quiet twenty-four hours with only one minor accident to investigate. Two vehicles collided at the pit Stop Gas Bar in Echo Bay. There were no injuries and only minor damage. No charges were laid.

Yesterday at 6:00 p.m., the Sault O.P.P. responded to a single-vehicle accident on Highway 17 in Havilland Township. A 1995 Chevrolet Blazer lost control, rolled over, and flipped into the ditch. The Blazer then caught on fire.

SAULT O.P.P. Goulais River An O.P.P. officer, travelling southbound on Highway 17 at 9:10 p.m. yesterday in VanKoughnet Township, was surprised to find a speeding motorist come up quickly behind his unmarked cruiser.

The Sault O.P.P. was called to a residence on Haviland Shores Drive in Haviland Township regarding a dog complaint. The same dog had attacked an 18-month-old child 6 days earlier. The 3-year-old Sheppard cross was supposed to be under quarantine.

SAULT STE. MARIE DETACHMENT DOMESTIC ASSAULT Yesterday at 3:20 p.m., police were called to an address in Goulais River regarding a domestic assault. The victim received minor injuries and did not require medical attention.

SAULT O.P.P. VEHICLE ROLLOVER Sault O.P.P. investigated a single-vehicle rollover yesterday at noon on Highway 17 near Pancake Bay. There were several people in the vehicle but none received more than minor injuries. No charges were laid.
