MOTORCYCLE-PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT Yesterday at 4:30 p.m., the Sault O.P.P. investigated a serious motorcycle-pedestrian accident on Elizabeth Street in Echo Bay. A youth was run over by a motorcycle operated by another youth.

The Sault O.P.P. reports a fairly quiet long weekend. A male from California was involved in a one-vehicle accident on Ranger Lake Road yesterday afternoon.

FATAL PLANE CRASH There was a fatal air accident yesterday at 5:00 p.m. that has claimed the life of the pilot, 64-year-old Marcel LaFleur, of Timmins. The crash occurred at the Opeepeesway River in Genoa Township. The South Porcupine O.P.P.

The O.P.P. has had a quiet twenty-four hours all across the north. There have been only two accidents; one near North bay and the other on highway 144 north of Sudbury. No fatalities were reported.
