GUELPH -- Soo Greyhounds scored on two of five third period shots on Guelph goalie Andrew Penner to overcome the Storm 5-4 before 2,842 fans here Thursday. The win for the Hounds was their second straight on the road.

NORTH STARS SPLIT WITH CUBS

It was a weekend split for the Soo North Stars with the New Liskeard Cubs. The North Stars, who have clinched second place in the Great North Midget Hockey League, lost 4-3 to the third-place New Liskeard Cubs on Sunday after a 4-2 win on Saturday.
