A skills competition was held during the first annual Steelworkers Local 2251 High School Hockey Tournament held in Sault Ste. Marie this past weekend. The competition was conducted by KBX Sports, run by former NHLer Ken Belanger.

Korah Colts won the first annual Steelworkers Local 2251 High School Hockey Tournament by defeating the St. Mary’s Knights 3-2. Matt Lafleur opened the scoring at 13:19 to put Korah in the lead.

The Central Algoma Secondary School Boys Basketball teams hosted Manitoulin on Thursday. The senior boys improved to 6-0 with a 70-36 victory over the Mustangs. Cass lead 40-23 at the half.
