NIECE STEALS FROM ELDERLY AUNT On January 31, 2003 at 11:27 am, a 77-year-old female contacted the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service to report the theft and fraud of a credit card.

CITY POLICE OFFICERS BEING INVESTIGATED Yesterday at approximately 6:20 pm, police officers were called to the rear of the Beer Store on Bruce Street to investigate two males there.

ATTEMPT TO LEAVE TOWN - ARRESTED Yesterday at 9:40 am, the accused, Richard Maki, age 39 of 188 Cathcart Street was at the Social Services Office on Albert Street East trying to get a bus ticket to Alberta.

JEALOUS RAGE On April 10 at approximately 4:30 pm, a 24-year-old female from Crawford Street was at a residence on Elgin Street to see her estranged husband. She was described as being in a jealous rage.

DRUG BUST Yesterday, members of Joint Forces Drug Unit executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act for cannabis marijuana at a residence on Albert Street West.

YOUTH CHARGED WITH ASSAULT On April 1, at a Shafer Avenue residence at 12:50 pm, the accused, a 17-year-old male was angry at his 14-year-old stepbrother over a wallet. During the argument, the accused hurled a yo-yo at the victim, missing him.
