As I type this there’s ten to twelve young people playing basketball at the Queen Elizabeth School. No wonder Covid is community spread here. Our health trumps their fun.

I’m noticing just today more people becoming lax about Social Distancing. Four young people walking down the street shoulder to shoulder, no S.D. at a major grocery store in the west end. Our friends to the south are busting out it seems. Begging for the second more devistating wave of Covid 19.

This is Sault Ste Marie don’t forget. Just because it’s posted doesn’t mean it is obeyed. In general motorists do at least 10 over and truck drivers ( half tons / pick ups ) it’s 20 over. If councillors pass a traffic bylaw they have to make sure it’s enforced and that part is sadly lacking. Speed will not change on Black Road.

I am able to park elsewhere and walk a ways when going to the hospital because I refuse to pay & park. However many don’t have that option due to health issues which is unfortunate.

No new cases. That’s good but surprising. Still seeing basketball games going full tilt at schools and outside workout sessions at the Rhrodes Centre and groups of young people biking. But no Social Distancing let alone masks.
Think of others.
