Hazardous Waste Depot set to reopen Monday

The Sault Ste. Marie Household Hazardous Waste Depot is scheduled to reopen for the season Monday and the Landfill site will begin opening Saturdays starting July 18.

Located at 402 Fifth Line East, the Household Hazardous Waste Depot and Landfill will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Use of the Household Hazardous Waste Depot is free, accepting items such as paint, pesticides, pool chemicals, drain cleaners, motor oil, antifreeze, propane cylinders and electronics.
