SINGLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT Echo Bay, Ont. O.P.P. investigated a single motor vehicle accident yesterday involving a transport and a moose. There were no injuries. The accident occurred on Highway 17 in the Township of Laird, east of Echo Bay.

COLLISION SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL Heyden, Ont. A Michigan woman was sent to Sault Area Hospital yesterday after a two vehicle collision on Hwy 556 in Heyden. At about 9:30 yesterday morning two vehicles were traveling in the same direction.

MINOR INJURIES IN HEYDEN GARAGE FIRE Heyden, Ont., A garage fire in Heyden on Saturday night sent one person to hospital with minor injuries. At about 8:00 p.m. the Aweres Fire Department was dispatched to a garage fire on Hwy 556 in Heyden.

SUSPENDED DRIVER LOSES CAR Goulais River, Ont. A 21-year-old Sault man has lost his car for 45 days as a result of driving while suspended. Yesterday morning, O.P.P.

STOLEN SNOW MACHINE Echo Bay, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP are investigating the theft of a snow machine from behind a garage in the Echo Bay area.

The names of the four Ministry of Natural Resources employees who were killed in a helicopter crash yesterday have been released. Dead is the MNR Chief Helicopter Pilot, Mike Maguire, age 50. Mr. Macguire was assigned to the air services of the MNR.
