HIGHWAY 17 NORTH CLOSED Sault Ste. Marie Be advised that Highway 17 North of Sault Ste. Marie has been closed as of 8:30 p.m. today by the O.P.P. from Batchwana Bay (70km north of the Sault) to 4km south of Wawa due to weather conditions.

HIGHWAY 17 NOW OPEN Sudbury, Ont. A tractor-trailer rolled over on highway 17 at Regional Road 55 near Sudbury at 7:00 this morning. Two people were taken to hospital. It took rescue workers over an hour to free one of the victims.

$200,000 WORTH OF DRUGS LOCATED IN ECHO BAY RAID Echo Bay, Ont., The Sault Ste Marie Joint Forces Drug Unit and members of Sault Ste Marie OPP executed a search warrant yesterday and recovered drugs and equipment estimated to be worth over $200,000.

A.T.V. COLLISON SENDS 14 YEAR OLD TO HOSPITAL Heyden, Ont., A late afternoon collision between an all terrain vehicle and a pick up truck sent a 14 year old Heyden youth to Sault Area Hospital. At about 5:00 p.m.

SNOWMACHINE OPERATORS TRESSPASSING Sault Ste Marie, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP investigated several complaints over the weekend of snow machine operators trespassing on private property. The complaints were received from all over the O.P.P.
