STOLEN SNOW MACHINE
Echo Bay, Ont.,

Sault Ste Marie OPP are investigating the theft of a snow machine from behind a garage in the Echo Bay area.

Sometime between Monday night and Wednesday afternoon thieves walked up behind the garage on Lake George Road in the Echo Bay area and took the machine. Police believe they dragged the machine to a field and drove it away. Missing is a 1991 Polaris Indy snow machine.

OPP would like to remind all snow machine owners of our anti theft slogan and program of "LOCK IT OR LOSE IT". Police are receiving more and more reports of snow machines stolen from back yards, garages and driveways of the owners homes. In this particular theft the snow machine was stolen from behind a garage next to the home. The snow machine was out of sight from anyone who was traveling on that roadway.
