VEHICLES ENTERED Last night, three vehicles parked at the MTO Patrol Yard on Pine Shore Road suffered damage. Each had the driver's side window smashed. Stolen from the vehicles were gas cans and a Husqvuarna chain saw.

On Monday, August 4, at 1:00 p.m., a private airplane with a family of five aboard crashed on Manitoulin Island near Silverwater at the west end of the island.

LOGGING EQUIPMENT DAMAGED Heyden, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP is investigating a report of damage to logging equipment near Beaumont Trailer Park in Heyden.

VEHICLE BREAK & ENTER The Sault O.P.P. is investigating an incident that occurred July 23 or 24 on Calabogie Road in Laird Township. The front and side windows were smashed out of a 2000 Chev Silverado.
