VEHICLE BREAK & ENTER The Sault O.P.P. is investigating an incident that occurred July 23 or 24 on Calabogie Road in Laird Township. The front and side windows were smashed out of a 2000 Chev Silverado.

The Sault O.P.P. is investigating an incident that occurred July 23 or 24 on Calabogie Road in Laird Township. The front and side windows were smashed out of a 2000 Chev Silverado. The vehicle was entered and a leather jacket and 10 CDs were stolen.


ARRESTED FOR BREACH OF CURFEW
A 24-year-old Batchawana First Nations resident, Chad Geurtin, was found walking on the First Nation at 3:08 a.m.. He was arrested for Breach of Probation for violating his curfew. He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
