REASON FOR FATAL ACCIDENT Garden River The investigation into the fatal collision Thursday afternoon at Garden River has revealed a reason of the accident.

Highway 17 through Garden River has been re-opened to traffic in both directions, OPP reported at 7:37 p.m..

THREE CHARGED IN WEEKEND BEATING OF HEYDEN MAN (Heyden, Ont.) The Ontario Provincial Police has arrested and charged an 18-year-old man and two young persons in connection with the beating of a Heyden man on the weekend.

HEYDEN WOMAN ASSAULTED Heyden, Ont., A Heyden woman was treated at Sault and Area Hospital after being assaulted. Yesterday at about 1:45 p.m. police were called to the Cedar Court home in Heyden after the woman called police.
