ASSAULT ON WOMAN AND CHILD Heyden, Ont., Sault Ste. Marie O.P.P. has issued a warrant for the arrest of a twenty-four-year-old Heyden man after a woman was kicked unconscious and her five-year-old son assaulted by the same man.

MISSING TRANSPORT DRIVER FOUND Sault Ste. Marie A tractor-trailer driver hauling a load of lumber from Manitoba to Toronto was reported missing to police yesterday.

ECHO BAY FIRE (Echo Bay, Ont) Yesterday members of he Sault O.P.P. and the Echo Bay Fire Service responded to a fire at the Echo Bay Milling Co. located on Highway 638, MacDonald Twp. At 5:30 p.m. found the building engulfed in flames.
