It was a winter weather weekend in Sault Ste. Marie and area. As reported by SooToday.com, tractor-trailers had difficulty with the Mile Hill and with the Mica Bay Hill.

Sanders and plows from the Goulais River MTO eventually cleared the highway and no accidents were reported other than a transport carrying cattle that slid partially into the ditch while blocking most of the highway at the Mica Bay hill. There was no damage and none of the cattle was injured.
