The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service successfully negotiated a safe resolution to the incident involving an armed male in the downtown area.

Three persons to appear in bail court 1) At approx. 10:30 pm yesterday evening city police were called to attend at the top of Pim St. hill regarding a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.

SEXUAL ASSAULT A 22 year old male has been charged with 2 counts of sexual assault, 2 counts of sexual interference and 1 count of invitation to sexual touching.

Two males arrested for theft from vehicles At approx. 3:00 am this morning city police were called to the Parkview Court area to investigate a complaint of two males going through vehicles.

Arrests: The following four persons will be appearing in bail court 1) Early yesterday morning a 25-year-old male was arrested and charged with one count of assault with a weapon and one count of forcible confinement.

Police Seek Witnesses The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is looking for witnesses to a transport/ motorcycle crash that happened last night at the intersection of Trunk Road and the new Highway 17.

Two Break & Enters City Police responded to burglar alarms early this morning at Benson Autoparts at 665 John Street and Kelly's Parkway Service Centre on Korah Road. The alarms came in at 2:06 a.m. and 2:20 a.m. respectively.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT A 27 year old male has been charged with 1 count of assault and will be appearing in bail court this morning.

Domestic Related Arrests City police responded to a domestic related incident outside a local bar around 6:41 pm last evening that involved a 23 year-old male and 18 year-old female.
