DOMESTIC ASSAULT

A 27 year old male has been charged with 1 count of assault and will be appearing in bail court this morning. It is believed that sometime around 2am after leaving a friend’s down town residence the accused became involved in a heated argument with his girlfriend while she was holding her young son. The accused pushed the victim causing an injury to her elbow that did not require medical attention. City police were called and the accused was arrested at 2:30am and transported to the station. The child was not harmed in this incident.

BREAK AND ENTERS

1. A shed in the 200 block of Bay Street was broken into between 3pm on the 2nd of June and 7am on the 3rd of June. 3 empty kegs valued at $150 were stolen.

2. A garage in the 100 block of Manitou Drive was broken into between 11pm on the 2nd of June and 11am on the 3rd of June. Taken were 2 motor bikes.

o 2003 Honda XR100, red in colour, valued at $2400
o 2003 Yamaha YZF 250, blue and white in colour, valued at $8000

3. A garage in the 200 block of Albert Street West was broken into sometime overnight between the 2nd and 3rd of June. A lawnmower was taken. Unknown value for the lawn mower.

MISCHIEF

1. Highland Ford, located at 68 Great Northern Road had 20 Tires slashed on New Trucks parked on their lot. The incident occurred sometime overnight on the 3rd of June between 2am and 7am. Value of tire damage is $5000.

2. Overnight on the 3rd of June vehicle tires were slashed in the parking lot of a residence in the 100 block of Boemer Blvd.
