Police Seek Witnesses
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is looking for witnesses to a transport/ motorcycle crash that happened last night at the intersection of Trunk Road and the new Highway 17.
City Police, the OPP and Anishinabe police responded to the collision, just before 7 p.m.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to Sault Area Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
An initial investigation indicates that the motorcycle was travelling westbound, coming into town on Highway 17.
The transport driver is believed to have turned from Trunk Road onto the new portion of highway when the collision occurred.
