We need much more for the farmers. I have a hayfield and there is no where near the amount we will need this year because of the lack of rain. I do love the warm beach weather but it doesn't sustain our food supply or our animals. I am praying for more rain.

sure wish i could get home. When I got to Ecuador there was not one case. When they had 2 cases, I started trying to get home. Have called Air Canada daily and waited on hold. Once for 6 hours, no answer. Have emailed every day, no response , except one automated response saying, Thank you for your patience. We will get back to you within 30 days. OMG, I cannot get out. Tried changing flight on line and it just says, no air canada flights to Ecuador until December. Wow. Now all airports are closed. No one in, no one out, not even Eduadorians are allowed in or out. We are in lockdown.

Canada needs to step up its containment measurses for this virus. I am stuck in Ecuador, no way to get out, no flights in, no flights out, not even Ecuadorians are allowed back in. We were given a 3 day warning. Air Canada has not responded to my requests .There was testing at the airports and the bus stations with heat sensing guns pointed to your forehead to see if you had a fever. And it worked. They caught people going on to buses with fevers . They totally fumigated the bus. Now all buses are stopped. They started this when there was only 2 cases in the country. Everyone now is basically under house arrest. Not allowed to go for a walk unless it is an emergency . The police will stop you. Military was brought in . I feel this is a very safe place. One person out for groceries at a time and you cannot enter the store until they douse you in hand sanitizer. Persons working are wearing masks and have gloves. I wish Canada would step up and make my family at home safer.

My nephew was in there and said people throw drugs over the wall where they go outside to smoke. Apparently you can get anything in there. Some are in there because there is a government subsidy that if you agree to counselling they will subsidize rent.

Deepest condolences for the family. Rob always helped me out with my horses. He was very intuitive with them. Kind gentle man for sure. He will be missed.
