ROY, Robert 'Rob'

Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday April 28, 2019 at the age of 65. Born in Sault Ste. Marie on September 12, 1953. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Sofia and her mother Monika. Predeceased by his parents George and Retta Roy. Brother of Retta Jean Rushworth (Fred), Randy Roy (Vicky), Ruth Hyndman (Mike), Ron Roy (Joy) and Rick Roy (Maryse). Uncle to Erin, Maggie, Alyssa, Brandy, Ashley and Randy Jr. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Rob’s Life on Thursday May 2, 2019 from 6:00pm-9:00pm at the Bruce Station Community Hall (109 Station Rd., off Highway 638, Bruce Mines). A graveside inurnment will be held on Friday May 3, 2019 at 8:45am (meet at chapel) at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 27 Fourth Line E, Sault Ste. Marie. The family would like to thank the family and friends who visited Rob during his illness. We would also like to thank the staff at the Sault Area Hospital for their care and compassion given to Rob.
