LIFE THREATENING MISCHIEF AT NEW SAW MILL Echo Bay, Ont. Sault OPP are investigating an act of vandalism at a new, controversial sawmill just north of Echo bay in Sylan Valley. Workers at the mill were processing logs that were just about to be cut.

ACCIDENT SENDS FOUR TO HOSPITAL Heyden, Ont., A single vehicle accident on Hwy 17 on Saturday night sent an entire Goulais River family to Sault and Area Hospitals. On Saturday, at about 10:10 p.m.

STOLEN TRUCK RECOVERED Goulais River, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP is investigating a report of a stolen 1991 ford pick up truck. Sometime in the early hours of Thursday morning, someone stole the truck from a home near Goulais Mission in Goulais River.
