STOLEN TRUCK RECOVERED
Goulais River, Ont.,
Sault Ste Marie OPP is investigating a report of a stolen 1991 ford pick up truck.
Sometime in the early hours of Thursday morning, someone stole the truck from a home near Goulais Mission in Goulais River. The truck was located several miles from the home smashed into a tree. The keys were left in the vehicle and the truck was unlocked.
No arrest or charges have been laid yet.
DANGEROUS VANDALISM

Staff the Echo Bay municipal office reported a prank to their township offices that could have had dangerous repercussions.
When office staff report to work on Thursday morning they found that someone had lit an entire package of matches an had thrown them through the mail slot on the office door. There was no damage, this time, and it appears that the matches burned themselves out.
