FOUR DEAD IN HELICOPTER CRASH Desbiens Twp., Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP are confirming that all four occupants of a helicopter that crashed at about noon today have died of their injuries.

Make that two wins in a row for the Soo Greyhounds. One night after beating the Sarnia Sting 5-1, the Greyhounds beat the Belleville Bulls 3-2 in front of just over 2,600 fans at Memorial Gardens on Sunday.

NORTH STARS RATTLE COBRAS

The Soo North Stars swept a pair of weekend games from the Valley East Cobras to remain in second place in the Great North Midget Hockey League. Sunday at John Rhodes Community Centre, eight players had a goal apiece in an 8-0 blanking of the Cobras.

STARS BEAT VALLEY EAST

Five different players scored a goal apiece as the Soo North Stars bested the Valley East Cobras 5-1 in Great North Midget Hockey League action Saturday night at the John Rhodes Community Centre.

STING STUNG BY HOUNDS AGAIN

The Soo Greyhounds continued their mastery of the Sarnia Sting on Saturday, defeating the visitors 5-1 before 3,002 fans at Memorial Gardens. The Hounds are now 4-0-1 against Sarnia this season.

COUGARS LOSE AT FANSHAWE

LONDON -- The men's basketball team at Sault College has fallen out of first place. The Cougars fell 72-67 to the Fanshawe Falcons here Friday.

COUGARS GAIN COURT HEIGHT

The Sault College Cougars will be out to retain their Ontario Colleges Athletic Association men's basketball status in London on Friday night. With a 4-2 record, the Cougars are in first place in the OCAA West Region.

COLIZZA POPS FOUR IN JR. HOUNDS' WIN

The NOJHL's best offensive team continued their scoring assault on Wednesday night as the Soo Jr. Greyhounds posted a convincing 15-1 victory over the visiting Espanola Screaming Eagles. Sammy Colizza was the offensive catalyst for the Jr.
