Three games were played within the Algoma Basketball Association's women's summer league on Wednesday at Bawating. Primo Pizza defeated Digital Recruits 34-29. Simone Taylor had 13 points to lead Primo Pizza and Jen Broad added 10.

Three games were played within the Algoma Basketball Association's women's summer league on Wednesday at Bawating.

Primo Pizza defeated Digital Recruits 34-29. Simone Taylor had 13 points to lead Primo Pizza and Jen Broad added 10. For Digital Recruits, Shauna Conway netted seven points and Jessica King and Danah Viotto had six apiece.

Sal-Dan Developments defeated Joey Calzone's 28-23. Katie Hamilton led Sal-Dan with 13 points and Julia Colizza added six. Jaclyn Cummings led Calzone's with eight and Katie Babcock added six.

Primo Pizza defeated the Braves 28-25. Taylor led Primo Pizza with another 10 points and Carly Zuke added nine. Steph Davies led the Braves with six and Kira Favaro, Brittany Hogan and Kathleen Thorburn all added five.
