The University of Michigan beat the Lake State hockey team 4-2 on Saturday night at Yost Arena to give the two teams a weekend split.

The Soo Thunder ended the 2005-06 Northern Ontario Bantam Hockey League regular season much like the way they started it, on a winning note. The Thunder scored three victories over the Timmins Technosub Rangers over the weekend at the Rankin Arena.
