The Sault Ste Marie Police Service had a relatively quiet day yesterday. The Service responded to 82 calls for assistance. These calls resulted in four minor arrests. BREAK & ENTER A break and enter was reported last evening at approximately 11:55 p.

WOMAN CHARGED WITH THEFT & ASSUALT On March 8, 2003 at 4:23 pm, the accused, a 40-year-old female allegedly stole the property of her mid twenties girlfriend.

DRUG BUST Yesterday at 11:09 am, police officers from the Joint Forces Drug Unit executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act search warrant on two apartments on Hawthorne Avenue.

ASSAULT The Sault Ste. Marie Police Services is investigating an assault that took place on Sunday May 18th at approximately 7:30 pm involving a knife and a baseball bat.

DONUTS IN THE PARKING LOT Early this morning, at 2:45, Police Officers observed a vehicle doing donuts in the Cambrian Mall parking lot. The vehicle then left that lot and went to Rome's Grocers where more donuts were performed.

MAN ARRESTED FOR HARASSMENT On May 6th, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service was advised that a 40-year-old female was being harassed by her estranged husband.

MENTAL PATIENT APPREHENDED Yesterday at 5:24 pm, a young adult female patient from the psychiatric ward at the Sault Area Hospital left there without permission and was reported missing.
