CITY POLICE HAD QUIET NIGHT City police had only one in custody this morning and that was for a liquor infraction. There was an incident at one of the area group homes funded by Children’s Aid.

Thursday, January 1, 2004 is pleased as punch to report there were no impaired driving charges laid last night by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.

MULTIPLE CHARGES LAID City police investigated an assault complaint that occurred on Friday. As a result, yesterday morning at 11:00, they arrested 24-year-old Brian Essan of 310 Selby.
