City Police went from one of the busiest nights to one of the slowest according to Sergeant Levis Vallee. Friday night saw 4 impaired drivers charged, several domestic disputes and 4 assaults plus routine calls.

FATAL ACCIDENT AT ALGOMA STEEL Algoma Steel announced yesterday evening that an 18-year veteran of the plant, Bob Brzezinski, was killed in an industrial accident late yesterday afternoon. Police report receiving the call at 5:20p.m.

Sault City Police told SooToday.com News of a very quiet Saturday night. Two males were overnight guests of police on public intoxication charges. A male was picked up for breach of probation.

The Sault City Police Service had a routine but busy Friday night. There were two people picked up on outstanding warrants. Two were charged with assault although police will not release details until Monday morning.
