ACCIDENTS The Sault Ste Marie Police Service’s Traffic Department is asking for the public’s assistance in the investigation of a motor vehicle collision. The accident occurred yesterday at 3 pm at the intersection of Huron St and Albert St W.

BREACH OF PROBATION 39 year-old James Laplante of 180 Church Street has been charged with breach of probation after he allegedly attended at the Northern Treatment Center while under the influence of alcohol.

IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED City police report a very quiet Saturday night. One driver was arrested and charged with impaired. At 8:20 last evening, police received a complaint about a drunk driver leaving an address on Second Line West.

IMPAIRED CHARGES Patrol officers noticed an expired licence plate on a vehicle last evening. When they pulled the car over, they noticed an alcohol smell.

The Sault City Police Service had a fairly quiet night last night. Two individuals were arrested for being drunk in a public place. Alvin Paul Waboose, age 28, of 536 Goulais Avenue was stopped by police at 4 this morning on Rossmore Road.

NAKED IN THE CITY City police had a quiet but interesting night last night. One intoxicated individual was picked up in front of the Algonquin Hotel and taken to the stationhouse.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE A domestic violence incident on Sunday afternoon resulted in a 34 year-old male being arrested and charged with threatening death.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service reports it was kept busy overnight with an assortment of matters involving probation breaches and public intoxication. One impaired driver was taken into custody around 5 a.m. today.
