Female Charged with Theft Yesterday afternoon it is alleged that 19-year old Jennifer Unetic of 14 Lachaumere Place stole a bottle of perfume from the Zellers Store in the Station Mall.

Male Charged with Three Counts of Treatening to Cause Death 42-year old Melvin Pine of 4 Lynn Road was arrested on Friday afternoon and charged with a number of offences.

Robbery- East Side Confectionary The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is investigating an armed robbery to the East Side Confectionary located at 76 Eastern Ave. that occurred today at about 1:20pm.

Male Arrested for Being Intoxicated in a Public Place Early this morning City Police were called to attend in the area of Wellington St.W. and Gore St. regarding a male throwing garbage on the road.

Youth Charged with Assault Yesterday afternoon a young person in custody at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre was charged with Assault and Breach of Probation.

Failure to Stop for Railway Crossing At approx. 12:25 AM this morning City Police were dispatched to the railway crossing on North St. regarding a motor vehicle collision involving a train.

Robbery Investigation Continues Officers from Investigation Services have been working through the night continuing the investigation into yesterday’s robbery at the HSBC Bank at the corner of Queen Street East and Brock Street.

Need Public Assistance The Sault Ste. Marie City Police are currently investigating a robbery. At 1 pm today a lone male entered the HSBC bank located at 601 Queen Street East. The male produced a note and demanded money from a teller.

Domestic Related Incident A 19-year old male will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested on outstanding warrants. The male was wanted for a threatening incident from July of this year.
