Domestic Related Incident A 19-year old male will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested on outstanding warrants. The male was wanted for a threatening incident from July of this year.

A 19-year old male will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested on outstanding warrants. The male was wanted for a threatening incident from July of this year. It is alleged in July the accused threatened an ex-girlfriend while they were in the downtown area. At the time of the offence the accused was on a probation order under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (formerly known as the Young Offenders Act). As a result of the incident a warrant was requested for one count of threatening and two counts of breach of probation. The name of the accused will not be released due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act charges as well as being a domestic related incident.

Failure to Appear for Fingerprinting

28-year old Paul Stiber of no fixed address will also appear in bail court this morning. Mr. Stiber was arrested last evening after City Police received a call to have the accused removed from a west end residence. When officers queried the accused they found there was an outstanding warrant for the accused. Mr. Stiber has been charged with one count of failing to appear for fingerprints.

Sexual Assault Charges Laid Against Male

Officers from Investigation Services arrested 48-year old Robert Currie of 103-135 Cambridge Place yesterday morning. It is alleged that between June 1st of 2004 and October 1st of 2004 the accused touched a young female in an inappropriate sexual manner. The accused has been charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual interference. The accused will appear in court on November 7th.

Aggravated Assault Charges

Officers from Investigation Services arrested 29-year old Matthew McMinn of 143 Sutton Place yesterday morning. On August 27th officers from Patrol Services had attended at an address in the 100 block of Sutton Place for a fight. It is alleged that on that date the accused kicked a male victim twice in the face while the victim was unconscious. The victim required medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries to the facial area. The accused has been charged with one count of aggravated assault. He will appear in court on November 7th.

Road Rage Apparent

Last evening around 7 pm it is alleged that a car cut off a truck while the vehicles were traveling along Northern Avenue. When the vehicles stopped for a red light on John Street at Second Line it is alleged that the driver of the truck got out of his vehicle and approached the male driver of the car and punched him a number of times in the head area. A plain-clothes officers from the CORE Team (Street Team) was in the area when the incident occurred. 50-year old Gerald LeFrancois of 1-77 Willow Avenue has been charged with one count of assault and will appear in court on November 7th. The victim received minor injuries but did not require medical treatment at the time.

Break and Enter

Yesterday morning officers attended at the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation at 168 McDougald for a break and entered. Nothing appears to have been taken.
