Female Charged with Theft Yesterday afternoon it is alleged that 19-year old Jennifer Unetic of 14 Lachaumere Place stole a bottle of perfume from the Zellers Store in the Station Mall.

Yesterday afternoon it is alleged that 19-year old Jennifer Unetic of 14 Lachaumere Place stole a bottle of perfume from the Zellers Store in the Station Mall. The accused has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and will be attending court on November 21st.

Car Break and Enter

Sometime overnight on the 16th of October at 10 pm and 8 am on the 17th of October thieves broke into a vehicle parked in the 100 block of West Street and stole a Sony CD player, 24 CD’s, a phone charger and 2 pairs of sunglasses.

Last evening homeowners in the 100 block of Bay Road came home and found that sometime 2 pm and 9 pm thieves had broken into their home. Thieves made off with a guitar, jewellery, liquor and an undisclosed amount of money.

Careless Driving Charges Laid

Yesterday afternoon just after 1 pm City Police attended in the 900 block of McNabb Street for a motor vehicle collision with minimal injuries. A car operated by Linda Frankfurter of 154 Country Club Place was stopped on McNabb Street facing eastbound waiting to make a left turn into a civic address. It is alleged that a car operated by Christopher Bryant of 114-43 Lewis Road was traveling eastbound on McNabb Street and struck the Frankfurter vehicle from behind. Mrs. Frankfurter received non-life threatening injuries but did not require any medical treatment at the time of the incident. Damage to both vehicles is described as moderate. Mr. Bryant has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario with one count of careless driving.
