************************* City mourns passing of Mayor John Rowswell
SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - The thoughts and prayers of members of Sault Ste. Marie City Council and staff are with the family and friends of Mayor John in their time of loss.
First elected in November 2000, Mayor John Rowswell was in his third term as mayor.
Mayor John was a man dedicated to his community and to his family.
A book of condolences will be placed at the reception desk in the lobby of the Civic Centre this afternoon to allow citizens to write messages to the Rowswell family.
The book will be available throughout the week from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
