City Police Service reports a routine Saturday night. There were two people arrested for liquor-related offences and one person picked up for an attempted break & enter to a home on Wellington West. That offence occurred at 7:30 this morning.

MAN CHARGED WITH SEXUAL OFFENCES A 42-year-old male was picked up yesterday afternoon at 2:30 by City Police. He was apprehended without incident and charged with several sexual offences involving a minor.

FORCIBLE CONFINEMENT & ASSAULT Yesterday at 2:10 p.m., officers from the Sault Ste Marie Police Service were called to an address in the 400 block of Albert Street West and arrested a 51-year-old male for assault and forcible confinement.
