BUSY NIGHT FOR POLICE
City Police were kept busy once again responding to numerous complaints of thefts from vehicles and theft of bicycles from all areas of the city.

It appears that most of the vehicles were unlocked or the bicycles were not locked up making it even easier for thieves to steal.

Again, Police are asking the public if you see suspicious persons or activities in your area, please report it.

It appears a disgruntled intoxicated male went on a window smashing spree last night. Several downtown businesses had windows and doors kicked in.

A male in his late 20's was observed behind the Time Out Steakhouse on Queen Street East walking eastbound in the laneway. A short time after, reports of windows broken at the Canadian Armed Forces and Health Gear were reported.

This continued as a report of a male wearing a blue T-shirt, blue jeans, dark hair with a beard was observed kicking in a side door to the Day's Inn Motel. Reports of smashed windows to Northern Breweries were also reported.
