City police Sergeant Steve Low says it was a very quiet twenty-four hour period in the Sault. Two young males, ages 13 and 16, were arrested late yesterday afternoon for shoplifting.

NARCOTICS POSSESSION Yesterday morning shortly before noon hour, officers from the Joint Forces Drug Unit observed a male to have in his possession narcotics. As a result of this Denis Joseph Morin, age 42, of 153 Alexandra was arrested.

City Police had a busy 24-hour period yesterday. A number of persons will be in bail court today on a variety of offences.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE IN WEST END A 31-year old male will appear in bail court this morning after police attended at a residence in the west end for a domestic dispute.

BREAK & ENTER STOPPED 23-year old Paul William Edwards of 150 Upton Road will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested by City Police.

The City Police Service has had a routine holiday so far. Sergeant Joe Trudeau said one woman was arrested yesterday for an offence that allegedly occurred on July 31.

City police report a fairly quiet twenty-four hour period. One young person was arrested for breach of an undertaking. He was to be in his home from 7pm to 7am but police found his on the street at 12.25 this morning.

ARRESTED ON FRAUD CHARGES 23-year-old Jamie Tubman of 4 Pinewood Walk, Marathon, was arrested yesterday morning on a number of fraud-related charges.
