Why is it the residents of Sault Ste Marie automatically blame this crime on druggies, addicts and junkies? Foolish , foolish uneducated citizens think you know everything. Your lack of education is beyond me, crime is not just downtown and by junkies its everywhere , just watch the world go by you as you sit surfing on your butts and be very careful what you say Karma has a habit of getting you when you least expect it.

Giant Tiger yippee skippee, it would be nice if we could get a few stores that sell quality instead of junk. You pay for inexpensive items when you purchase them and you repeat the process over and over. For those who are going to complain about the shopping If you do not like where you live get up and move you are not a tree. This city is so backward and behind that I am surprised we have anything other than bars and pizza joints oh and must not forget the Italian eateries.

Addiction is NOT an excuse its Reality

The problem with Sault Ste Marie when it comes to addiction and how to react to this kind of incident is so negative. Everybody wants to hear the truth but then when they do have a hard time swallowing it. It happened at three in the afternoon and if you were not there to witness what happened before and afterwards keep the ignorant comments to yourself. Unless YOU personally struggle with addiction every day, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day you are clueless and show your sheer ignorance about this just commenting , just go take care of your own life.

Well good for you take the train, and I know what I am talking about when I say the tracks are a mess. As far as bus tours go and numbers being steady that's so funny,, as somebody stated earlier the train used to have as many as 23---25 cars 3 engines pulling the train and two diners. Now nobody even wants to cater the dining car, so US folks go ahead and take the train, buy your boxed lunches and watch the monitors as the train goes to the canyon and back, but make sure you have lots of life insurance.

CN does not want the tour train, the tracks are deplorable and slow orders right from mile 1 to the canyon. As a frequent rider on the train I would not take it if was free ( not safe ). It is not what it was years ago thanks to it going to Wisconsin then to CN. What does it take to make people understand CN hauls freight not tourists.
