SEATBELT CHECK NETS IMPAIRED DRIVER Goulais River, Ont., while conducting one on the numerous seat belt checks over the Thanksgiving weekend, Sault Ste Marie OPP nabbed an impaired driver. On Saturday night at about 11:30 p.m.

O.P.P. had a quiet night last night. There were no accidents and no arrests.

O.P.P. report a rash of single-vehicle accidents in the past twenty-four hours throughout the region. There have been no injuries and no significant property damage.

NO INJURIES IN TRANSPORT ACCIDENT Goulais River, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP will not be laying any charges as a result of a collision yesterday involving a loaded transport truck. At about 11:00 a.m.

The O.P.P. conducted a seatbelt check last night. 110 vehicles were checked and there were no seatbelt charges laid but three other Highway Traffic Act warnings were issued. Police will continue the seatbelt enforcement throughout the weekend.
