The Soo Greyhounds regained a share of the lead in the Ontario Hockey League's west division on Thursday night.

Michael Maulucci turned in a 51 save performance to inch the Soo Thunderbirds closer to the Northern Michigan Black Bears.

The three-day Mealey Classic Alpine Ski Race wrapped up at the Searchmont Resort on the weekend. The annual event hosted by the Searchmont Ski Runners concluded with a Giant Slalom race on Sunday.
