Sir James Dunn Eagles defeated College Notre-Dame Alouettes from Sudbury 56-7 this afternoon to take the NOSSA senior football championship.

The Soo Greyhounds were on the wrong end of a 6-3 decision to the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors on Saturday night at the Essar Centre. Former Greyhound first round draft pick Jordan Mayer scored three times for the Majors.
