More! More! More!

Okay, Saultites - it's time to put your hot pants on and deliver more! We're simply not getting enough votes to keep the Sault's proposed youth centre alive in the second round of the Aviva Community Fund online competition.

Okay, Saultites - it's time to put your hot pants on and deliver more!

We're simply not getting enough votes to keep the Sault's proposed youth centre alive in the second round of the Aviva Community Fund online competition.

The second round ends at midnight tomorrow night.

At time of writing, (10:40 a.m. Saturday), we have 2,530 votes, putting us in 32nd place.

We need to be in the top twenty to proceed to the semi-finals.

If we're going to stay in this thing, we need everybody to forward this message to friends and also promote the competition on your Facebook and Twitter pages.

Remember, you can vote both today and tomorrow!

And if you have more than one e-mail address, you can register all of them, meaning you can vote more than once a day!

Martin Wyant, chief executive officer of the Sault Ste. Marie Family YMCA, is seeking $75,000 from the Aviva Community Fund for a new local youth centre.

The money would be used to add a youth library, gaming lounge, computer-based music studio, mulitmedia centre, pool table and board games to all the other amenities currently available at the local Y.
