BREAK AND ENTER Officers were called to a Prince Charles Crescent residence yesterday regarding a break and enter to the garage. On Sept 17, thieves had gone through an unlocked vehicle in the driveway stealing the garage door opener.

RESIDENTS CAN RETURN HOME - BRUCE STREET OPEN Bruce Street has now been partially opened to traffic. The southbound lanes have been opened to allow one lane of traffic in each direction.

RESIDENTS CAN RETURN HOME No gas vapours had been detected at any of the monitoring sites in homes or the sewer system as of noon today.

BRUCE STREET REMAINS CLOSED The Bruce Street railway crossing will remain closed through most of today as the clean-up operation continues. A tanker car left the tracks and spilled gasoline adjacent to the crossing on Wednesday.

UPDATE ON TANKER CAR SPILL The tanker car that flipped on its side yesterday just east of Bruce Street has been righted and removed from the scene.
