Nobody knows the North like you do. By sharing your stories, you can encourage others to “Do North”, and also have a chance to win 1 of 3 truly northern grand prizes (details below).
In one paragraph or more, describe an experience you’ve had, or memory you’ve made, that can only happen in Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District. Have a great photo or video? Include that as well. Sharing your stories is easy with our form below.
Stories can include outdoors places and activities (like fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, paddling, ATVing, etc) or urban experiences (like dining, shopping or special events). But the experience should be unique to our region.
Examples:
The spot where you saw the most amazing sunrise or sunset.
The river you kayaked during that perfect adventure.
The cliff where you saw the most beautiful view on that perfect day.
That small restaurant on the lakefront that couldn’t be more romantic if it tried.
Describing that secret fishing hole whose location you will never give away.
