Joseph Folgora charged with Chambers Avenue arson

************************* 37-year-old Joseph Folgora of 152 Trelawne Avenue has also been charged with one count of arson by negligence in connection to the May 29 house fire on Chambers Avenue.

On May 30th officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service executed a search warrant at the residence and located a quantity of cannabis marijuana, cannabis resin, oxycodone, perocet and codeine.

The estimated street value of the narcotics is $1,040.

An undisclosed amount of money was also located.

In addition to arson by negligence the accused has also been charged with one count of production of a controlled drug or substance and five counts of possession of a controlled drug or substance.

The accused will also appear in court on January 8.
