Two people accused of murdering a Brampton woman whose body was found in a U-Haul in Sault Ste. Marie in May are looking at a November pretrial according to a report by ParrySound.com.
Michael Madill, 28, and Amy MacDonald, 35, both reported to be from Sault Ste. Marie but who police previously reported as being of no fixed address, were charged with first degree murder in the death of Beata Paciorek, a Brampton woman whose body was discovered on May 21.
The news report said that, at a Parry Sound Courthouse appearance on Sept. 7, Madill became upset because the judge refused his request to be continually incarcerated at the Central North Correctional Centre in Penetanguishene in-between court appearances.
Madill reportedly ‘made his displeasure with the court and prosecution known, swearing and forming his hands into a handgun, gesturing as if shooting the Crown,’ said ParrySound.com.
According to the report, some evidence still needed to be collected from the Sault Ste. Marie end of the investigation and both the Crown and defence agreed to aim for a November pretrial.
Rick Snow, 32, of Brampton, is also charged in the death of Paciorek.
All three accused are set to be back in court on Oct. 5.
