It has been a year since we lost our beloved husband, father and grandfather. Going forward has been difficult but made easier by the support of many people.
Thank you to my sisters, Linda (Edinburgh) and Hilary (Wokingham) for your constant phone calls and for assuring me that you were only a phone call away.
Thank you to my neighbour Ghislaine for sitting with me in the Emerg and always taking time to listen to me, to Debbie and Danielle for encouraging me to leave the house and to Donna for her messages of inspiration.

Thank you to everyone who donated to the SAH in Les’ memory, and I am sorry that I did not personally acknowledge each donation. Thank you for all the cards and messages of condolence, at times they were overwhelming, but I read and cherished every word. Thank you to my neighbours who helped get me through this year. To those of you who entertained my grandkids, walked my dog, brought me meals, changed my lightbulbs and dug me out of the snowbank, to those of you who always made a point of stopping to talk with constant offers of help and support. Thank you for being there for me at a very difficult time, for making me laugh but letting me cry.

Sincerely Elaine
