Every day without you has been hard, but on this day especially we can't help but think how much we wish you were here. You would be so proud of your grandkids and their families. Your great grandkids would make you smile and laugh at their antics. And you would make them laugh at your stories, especially the one about you sucking rocks for refreshment. Remember how my kids laughed at that story?
Oh how we wish you were still here with us. Instead we have to settle for you being in our hearts and our memories.
