February 21, 1950 - March 23, 2021 A year has gone by without our "Dar" by our side. The holidays and celebrations were tough, but we most miss the daily chats that would find us laughing. She loved to sit and listen to us tell stories about our day.

It's difficult to describe who this lady that wore so many different hats was. Dependent on the situation, she could be any of the following - supportive, funny, sarcastic, understanding - and it was often a roll of the dice as to which reaction we would get from her. However, one thing always held true, as a mom, grandma, sister, friend and mother-in-law she was always there for us whether she agreed with us or not.

She would strike up a conversation with anyone. We would often ask who she was talking to when we were out with her, thinking it was a friend, only for her to say that she had just met them. She would circle the block ten times waiting for her "gas boy" to show up because she refused to pump her own gas even though we all taught her how to do it. If she gave you a nickname you knew she liked you. Her grandchildren called her "Dar" since, even though she was 55 when the youngest was born, she continued to deem herself too young to be a grandma.

These are just a few examples of why our feisty, strong and independent mom/grandmother is missed so much.

Dar is forever loved and missed by Shelley, Dale, Christine, Tate, Shannon, Jordan, Josh, Ryan, Jules, Nicholas and Noah.
